On a sunny September 21, a little green lizard was born on Caye Caulker. His family named him Leonard. Everyone called him Lenny.
With a birthday on Belize's Independence Day, everyone knew one thing about Lenny — he was born to celebrate!

Growing up in a Belizean Kriol family, Lenny learned to respect his neighbors, lend a helping hand, and always make room for one more friend.

When his son Leo was born, Lenny discovered a whole new kind of happiness. While Daddy loved his favorite chair, Leo wanted to explore everything.
