The Split is the destination. Lazy Lizard is the heart of it. The Split is the iconic channel separating Caye Caulker’s north and south islands, while Lazy Lizard Bar & Grill is where you can enjoy food, drinks, music, and waterfront views right beside it.

Regular admission to The Split is free. Select events and special experiences may require a ticket or separate payment. Check the event details before your visit.

You’ll find us at the northern tip of Caye Caulker’s south island, right at The Split. Follow Front Street toward the north until you reach the water—and look for Lazy Lizard!

From the main water taxi arrival area, head north along the waterfront toward The Split. From Caye Caulker Airport, arrange a golf cart taxi or make your way through the village. Visit our Plan Your Visit page for directions from each arrival point.
